Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West alongside Ezra Miller in The Flash feature film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a deal between Warner Bros. and Clemons has been closed. Clemons was originally going to debut in 2017's Justice League, but her Iris West scenes were ultimately cut from the film. However, those scenes will now be included in Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max.

London is reportedly the shooting location for The Flash, with production set to begin in April. The film will explore the DC Multiverse, with appearances by former Batmen Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. A report that Michael Keaton would replace Ben Affleck as the main Batman in the DC Extended Universe was shot down in January, with the star's only confirmed appearance taking place in The Flash feature film.

The Young & the Restless star Sasha Calle will play Supergirl in The Flash solo film, marking the first time the DC hero has been played by a Latina actor. "I saw more than four hundred auditions. The US, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia," The Flash director Andy Muschietti said in an announcement video. "The talent pool was truly amazing and it was very hard to make a decision, but we finally found an actress who was destined to play this role."

HBO Max subscribers who attempted to stream Tom & Jerry received a surprise when Zack Snyder's Justice League played instead. The bug was picked up by fans and shared on social media, with clips from the highly-anticipated Snyder Cut posted. One such clip featured the extended Knightmare scene involving Batman's new Justice League facing off against a Darkseid-controlled Superman.

Iris West is the love interest of Barry Allen, aka The Flash. She is currently being portrayed by Candice Patton on The CW's The Flash television series. The couple is married, with one season of the series introducing their adult daughter from the future, Nora West-Allen, portrayed by Jessica Kennedy Parker.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script by Christina Hodson, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons and Billy Crudup. The film arrives in theaters Nov. 4, 2022.
