We then take a trip through various moments in season three, along with seeing different takes on familiar characters. For example, Harrison Wells returns with a brand new sense of humor, which comes as a surprise to Team Flash.

Garrick appears to slide into the role of mentor for Barry this season. He questions Barry on what kind of hero he's going to be -- is Barry going to take a detour every time he makes a mistake, or live with it and move forward?

"Arrow's" Felicity Smoak even makes a guest appearance. When Barry confesses that both times he kissed Iris West it's erased from existence, Felicity retorts, "I hate when that happens."

Finally, new villains The Rival and Alchemy are shown battling The Flash, along with a quick cameo of Captain Cold.

If that wasn't enough to whet your appetite, The CW also released the trailer for the next episode of "The Flash," titled "Paradox."

"The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
