The newest poster for The CW's hit superhero series indicates a shocking road ahead for the hero as he learns how to traverse the newly-discovered Multiverse.

Debuting on DC Comics' website, the poster features "Flash" star Grant Gustin's costumed alter ego besieged by miniature lighting strikes.

Starring Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin, "The Flash" returns to The CW on Oct. 6 on at 8 p.m. EST.
