WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for The Flash Season 7, Episode 12, "Good-Bye Vibrations," which aired Tuesday on The CW.

As Team Flash defeated Mirror Monarch and Cisco Ramon was reunited with his longtime girlfriend Kamilla Hwang, the couple began to plan about leaving Central City for good to launch the next phase of their lives together elsewhere. This interest was compounded when Cisco was subjected to his worst fears while taking on the new Force wielder Psych. So, as Cisco and Kamilla finally make their grand exit from Central City and Team Flash, here's how exactly they depart and how The Flash leaves the possibility for both characters to potentially return in the future.

Both Cisco and Kamilla accept professional opportunities that will take them out of Central City for the foreseeable future. Kamilla hosts an exhibition of her artwork in Miami for a prolonged period before she will eventually meet back up with Cisco. As for Cisco, his genius-level intellect, academic credentials and extensive experience with metahumans give him virtually limitless career possibilities to choose from. Ultimately, he decides to take a high-level position at A.R.G.U.S. after receiving glowing recommendations from John Diggle and Lyla Michaels.

Cisco jokes on the Flash

After Cisco breaks the news of his imminent departure to the rest of Team Flash, Barry Allen and Caitlin Snow initially both put on brave faces as to not make Cisco second guess his decision through their emotional reactions. Cisco misinterprets this as the rest of the team isn't bothered by him leaving, and it isn't until he angrily confronts them and reveals that Psych's vision showed him growing old at the same position at S.T.A.R. Labs while his peers grow and move on before Barry and Caitlin assure him that he's making the right decision.

Cisco's departure isn't an acrimonious one, though, despite the initial misunderstanding between himself and the rest of Team Flash; Kamilla has a similar awkward exchange with Iris that ends with Iris reminding her how much she will miss her. And while Star City is hundreds of miles away from Central City, A.R.G.U.S. has worked with Team Flash in the past against common, super-powered enemies. And Barry and Joe West have expressed that Cisco will always have a place to stay in Central City among Team Flash, no matter how long a return visit may be, making his return all the more open.
