A new picture of The Flash's Ezra Miller in a refurbished Batsuit has dropped online. An image of Miller in a re-purposed Batsuit has surfaced online bearing the common caption, "The flash batsuit for 2nd Barry." The updated costume -- which appears to be the version from 1992's Batman Returns -- has been painted red, with a yellow lightning bolt scrawled over Batman's emblem and the ears of the cowl removed. The costume's belt and gauntlets also feature a pattern of black and yellow arrows resembling the designated traffic sign telling drivers to keep right or left in anticipation of an obstruction in the road ahead.RELATED: Warner Bros. The image closely resembles the costume worn by a version of Miller's Scarlet Speedster in The Flash's first look trailer released during DC Fandome in 2021. That same preview also sees Barry spray paint a lightning bolt on the side of a red boot, whose pattern appears to match the boot in the newly released photo. A separate Reddit post showcasing toys from the upcoming movie refers to the version of Barry in the Batsuit as "The Flash Young Barry." This suggests that this alternate version of The Flash will be younger than the big-screen version audiences are already familiar with.

The Many Faces of The Flash

This separate Reddit post, shared by user -K--I--A-, also reveals a third, evil version of Miller's character, called "Dark Flash." It is unknown what role Dark Flash will play in the film or how prominently he will be featured. The character's design resembles the Black Flash, a Grim Reaper-like character from the comics who appears when a speedster is about to die and shepherds them to back to the Speed Force, a dimension of cosmic energy from which speedsters derive their powers.

Fans are eagerly anticipating a new trailer for Ezra Miller's upcoming DC standalone film, which sees the return of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as their respective versions of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios have yet to release any new footage from The Flash, but some of the film's cast and crew have been sharing some behind-the-scenes images. Director Andy Muschietti recently shared a look at Central City at night while possibly teasing the release of the film's upcoming new trailer with the caption, "We are bringing the lightning soon #theflashmovie." The Flash's first full trailer will premiere on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 12.

Set to appear alongside Miller, Keaton and Affleck are Ron Livingston's Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú's Nora Allen and Sasha Calle's Supergirl. Also reprising their roles are Kiersey Clemmons as Iris West, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Antje Traue as Faora-Ul and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry. Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot were also set to have cameos in the film as their respective DCEU heroes, but their appearances have since been removed.

The Flash crosses the finish line on June 16.
