Last month, it was reported that Keiynan Lonsdale would return to the role of Wally West/Kid Flash for the Season 6 Episode 14 of The Flash, with showrunner Eric Wallace teasing an increase in Wally's powers. However, Wallace has now revealed another change is in store not just for Wally, but Barry Allen as well.

Wallace told TVLine about his plan for Kid Flash, and delved into what was in store for both Barry and Wally following the latter's return.

"How do I say this without spoilers….. Wally returns for one of the pivotal episodes in the mythology of The Flash, and that is not an understatement," Wallace responded. "He comes back a changed person, and what he comes back to deal with, and how it involves Barry, will literally change the two of them — and their abilities, quite frankly — moving forward."

Wallace also teased that Wally's return to the series would involve a classic DC villain, the identity of which is currently unknown.
