Candice Patton's Iris West-Allen may be on Team Flash, but that does not mean the events of Arrow don't impact her.

In an interview with Comicbook.comThe Flash star spoke about how Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) impending death will impact the characters beyond Arrow.

"He's so beloved in all of these cities and by all of these superheroes," she said. "I think its going to be devastating. I mean, it's Oliver Queen. You can't replace Oliver Queen, you just can't."

With Arrow entering its eighth and final season, all signs point to Oliver Queen's demise. His grave was seen at the conclusion of the Season 7 finale of Arrow, and many have speculated that the trade he made with The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) towards the end of "Elseworlds" involved exchanging his life for Barry (Grant Gustin) and Kara's (Melissa Benoist). The comic book version of "Crisis on Infinite Earths" featured the deaths of Supergirl and Barry Allen, so it would make sense for the Arrowverse to switch things up and allow Oliver to take their place.

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
