Candice Patton, who plays Iris West on The Flash, has revealed her character's new look for the upcoming sixth season of the CW series."Means a lot to wear my curls on The Flash," Patton tweeted. "And I know it will to so many of you who look like me."
Of course, Iris' new hairstyle is hardly the only thing fans have to look forward to in Season 6 of The Flash, as the entire season will center on the annual Arrowverse crossover, "Crisis on Infinite Earths."
"'Crisis' is not separate from any story throughout the entire 22 episodes," showrunner Eric Wallace explained. "Even after 'Crisis,' the fallout from it continues to build and screw with Team Flash. In the first pre-'Crisis' episodes, as the big bad is getting introduced, like we always do -- we will see a relationship of what’s coming in 'Crisis' with what’s happening to Barry, with what’s happening to the new big bad. They are all interrelated."
Returning Tuesday, October 8 at 8 p.m. on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
