The latest episode of CW's The Flash featured the introduction of popular DC Rebirth villain, Godspeed.

He appears as the suspect of a case Nora is investigating. While we never see Godspeed unmasked, Gotham alum, B.D. Wong is credited with providing the voice for the character. The episode ends with Godspeed inside of a jail cell, but considering that Wong is voicing the character, it's unlikely this will be the villain's last appearance.

However, it's unclear if Wong will actually appear as Godspeed after the villain is unmasked, or if he'll simply be the villain's voice.

Also known as August Heart, Godspeed was created by writer Joshua Williamson and artist Carmine Di Giandomenico. He made his first appearance in The Flash: Rebirth #1. In the DC Universe, Heart has appeared as both a supervillain and an anti-hero. He possesses speed to rival the Flash along with powers of self-duplication, electrokinesis and vortex creation.

On Gotham, B.D. Wong is known for playing the mad scientist, Hugo Strange. He has appeared in movies like Jurassic Park and  several other TV shows, including The X-Files,  Mr. Robot and American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Wong is also known for his work on Broadway, and his performance in M. Butterfly as Song Liling won him a Tony Award.
