The Flash director Andy Muschietti just posted a new image of the Batman '89 suit with a Flash paint job over it.

Posted onto Instagram, the photo shows Michael Keaton's Batman suit painted entirely red, with a yellow Flash lightning bolt stretching across the bat symbol. The director gave no context as to what the suit could mean for the film, or how it pertains to the film's protagonist Barry Allen and the Batmen that will be joining him for the movie.

The Flash film will feature Ezra Miller's return as the fastest man alive, though he will be joined by Batman (Keaton), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Supergirl (Sasha Calle), among other faces. Also returning will be Iris West actress Kiersey Clemons, last seen in Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Keaton has not donned the cowl since he last portrayed Bruce Wayne in 1992's Batman Returns. The actor has described the experience as "weird," saying that it brought back "a lot of memories" for him. Much is still unknown about what the film will hold, but the suit reveal is just the latest image to keep fans guessing what to expect.

Directed by Muschetti and starring Miller, Keaton, Affleck and Calle, The Flash sprints into theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
