The Flash Season 7 has finally launched, picking up right where Season 6 left off as a determined Barry Allen prepares for a rematch against the Mirror Master to rescue his wife Iris.
A pair of promos for the season's second episode, titled "The Speed of Thought," has Barry discover a way to access the Mirrorverse where Iris was been kept. And as Barry prepares for the daring rescue mission, Eva McCulloch is ready to take on the Scarlet Speedster on her own turf.
Previously released production stills from The Flash episode reveal that Barry has acquired the new ability of speed-thinking, after having his powers restored by an artificial Speed Force. As he begins to master this new power, Barry's thoughts will be just as quick as he already is on his feet. For Team Flash, this is a much-need win after losing one of their own in the previous episode.
The promos also provide a better look at The Flash's modified costume, with Barry now able to activate his cowl to cover and remove itself with the touch of a button as revealed in the season premiere.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh. New episodes air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
