The first episode of "The Flash" season three will bring together two speedsters -- Barry Allen and Wally West. These two iconic heroes will team up at some point during the season three premiere episode "Flashpoint." "The Flash" storyboard artist Jeremy Simser tweeted out a photo of the concept art he drew for this scene yesterday. The tweet went viral, clocking in over 1,000 retweets.

CBR News reached out to Simser regarding his work on the show and why he wanted to share this specific panel. "I'm really proud of the work I do for 'The Flash' and I love the support I get when I share my boards online. When the promo images were released, that frame jumped out at me as something I had drawn. So I felt that fans might enjoy seeing them side by side."

Simser also worked on "Legends of Tomorrow" season one and will be providing storyboard art for "Supergirl" season two.

"The Flash" season three kicks off on The CW Tuesday, October 4 at 8 p.m.
