Greg Grunberg's geek cred is about to increase even more. As reported by Mashable, the "Heroes" and "Alias" alum has landed a recurring role on the CW superhero series "The Flash." CBR confirmed the casting news with the CW.
Grunberg, who also played Black Squadron pilot "Snap" Wexley in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," will play Detective Tom Patterson on the DC Comics series. Mashable describes the character as "a gruff, stalwart figure at Central City Police Department" and says Patterson is "unwavering in his commitment to protecting Central City from the dangerous metas that threaten it."
Grunberg's character will debut in the November 22 episode, an installment titled "Killer Frost." That episode was also directed by Kevin Smith -- who is also Grunberg's co-host on AMC's talk show "Geeking Out." You can read a synopsis of the ep, which features Caitlin Snow's (Danielle Panabaker) full turn to Killer Frost, below.
