10 Lujanne Is Not The Miracle Healer They Were Seeking But Is Still A Valuable Ally

Lujanne is a Moonshadow Elf mage who is believed to be the miracle healer. Lujanne specializes in illusion magic which, while disappointing to their immediate concerns of keeping the Dragon Prince's egg alive, comes in handy in keeping up morale and even in tricking Soren and Claudia.

As the sole Guardian of the Moon Nexus, Lujanne has developed an eccentric sense of humor. This becomes a bizarre and hilarious point of comic relief as the group deals with the stress of getting the Dragon Prince back to Xadia.

9 Opeli Shows Her Bravery In Challenging Viren Following King Harrow's Demise

Opeli is a member of the Katolis High Council, loyal to both Harrow and the Kingdom of Katolis. She only really gets the spotlight upon the king's death, with her having to challenge the impulses of Viren and him trying to break tradition. Opeli's stand against the terrifying Viren is a testament to her bravery and moral compass, knowing that Viren has the potential to kill her at any moment.

Opeli offers Ezran all the support she can give when he returns to take up the mantle of king. When he makes a deal allowing Viren to become king at the expense of his freedom, Opeli quickly leaves with Corvus. They hatch a plan with Soren to ensure Ezran's escape, with everyone lending their help and support later on in the big battle.

8 Ellis & Ava Helped The Group Climb The Cursed Caldera

Ellis is a young girl who joins the party as they journey towards the Cursed Caldera. They trust her word that there is a miracle healer who can help them keep the Dragon Prince's egg alive.

Ellis recounts her experience in taking an injured wolf pup named Ava and watching her be healed, giving them hope that the egg can be saved. Even after learning that the "healing" is an illusion created by Lujanne, Ellis remains her optimistic self and helps Callum's self-confidence in his magic skills.

7 Aanya Is A Wise Queen Beyond Her Years

Aanya is the young Queen of Duren, believed to be around the same age as Ezran. She is introduced in Breaking The Seal, with Viren arranging a meeting of the Pentarchy in a desperate attempt to gain their support in invading Xadia.

Aanya gladly listens to Viren's story about how brave her parents were as they were killed by the Dragon King. However, recognizing it as emotional manipulation, she refuses his request. She is mature and wise beyond her years and is later seen as a valuable ally for the forces protecting Zym and the Storm Spire.

6 Pyrrah Offers Her Loyalty To Ezran After Being Saved

Rayla, Callum, and Ezran work to save Pyrrah from the clutches of Soren and Claudia during The Dragon Prince's second season. The Fire Dragon is unable to speak like her fellow dragons Sol Regem and Avizandum because she's amongst a younger generation of dragons.

5 Sarai Was Kindhearted But Could Also Be Fiercely Defiant

Sarai was the Queen of Katolis, wife of Harrow, and mother to Ezran and Callum. Through several flashbacks, she is shown to be an emotional anchor to King Harrow and his moral compass. She also possesses a serious fierceness in arguments and battle.

She warns Harrow about trusting Viren and his use of dark magic. However, she still tries to save Viren when he is about to be killed by the Dragon King, with her life being sacrificed instead. Callum sees and talks to his mother when struggling with the after-effects of using dark magic, and her kind words of encouragement help him to understand the Sky Arcanum.

4 Janai Is A Powerful Sunfire Elf & Valued Ally To The Protection Of The Dragon Prince

Janai is a Sunfire Elf known as the Golden Knight of Lux Aurea. After her multiple encounters with Amaya on the Border, she's initially viewed as an enemy. However, she slowly begins to warm to Amaya after capturing her, as Amaya saves her life.

Janai has to watch as Viren and Aaravos destroy her sister Khessa and harness the power of the Sunforge for themselves. This forces her to flee with Amaya and join up with Ezran and their friends. Janai is a fierce warrior and a generally cold person, but her budding friendship with Amaya begins to soften her personality and general view of humans.

3 Claudia Has Chosen Her Dark Path & Could Possibly Become One Of The Most Powerful Characters

Claudia is one of Viren's children. Initially, she is energetic and wide-eyed in the wonder of magic. However, she quickly heads down the same dark path as her father when she finds a passion for dark magic. While her brother Soren eventually sees their father as the villain he truly is, Claudia stays loyal to her father, either through blind love for family or her wanting to become stronger.

Her funny sense of humor slowly begins to dwindle the more she uses dark magic, which also changes her appearance each time. Although, healing Soren and reviving Viren are two examples of why she will become one of the strongest characters of The Dragon Prince, likely even surpassing her father.

2 Amaya Is The Caring Aunt But Also A Fierce General

Amaya is the sister of the deceased Sarai and is the aunt of both Callum and Ezran. She is deaf and communicates through sign language. She never lets any hurdle get in her way, mentally or physically, with her fierce mentality earning the respect of almost everyone she meets.

She loves her family but initially tries to shoulder the burdens of humanity's survival by herself. When she accepts help and allies with others, she is a terrific leader and even grows to lessen her hatred of Xadia. She eventually joins Ezran and company in protecting Zym and the Dragon Queen.

1 Rayla's Determination To Do The Right Thing Is Endearing

Rayla is a Moonshadow Elf who is young, inexperienced, and doesn't fit in with her kind at the start of The Dragon Prince. When she sets off by herself to earn some redemption, a fateful encounter with Ezran and Callum (and the subsequent discovery of the Dragon Prince's egg still existing) changes her alignment and she sets off with the princes.

She is a skilled fighter with a strong sense of justice. After spending time getting to know Callum and Ezran, her hatred for humans is softened. Shunned by her kind for her alleged betrayal in not helping to kill Harrow and Ezran, Rayla finds solace in her growing relationship with Callum. She finds out the truth about her parents, who are not the cowards she always thought they were.
