THE DARK KNIGHT
Actor Christian Bale is the subject of an interview at Superhero Hype, where he discusses his training for the role and some of what to expect. "There are new things that I'm having to train for," Bale said, "but again just in the same way that we kind of were untested before, they know I know my right from my left now. They know when I walk, my arm swings the right way and everything. There's a little bit more confidence in me about my ability to pick things up quickly. We did start awhile back which I believe is a mystery for what we are training for."
Somebody who won't be back is actor Rutger Hauer, who is quoted at IGN saying just that. "I have not gotten the call yet," Hauer said.
Actors Topher Grace and Tobey Maguire faced off on AOL's Unscripted talking about villains, director Sam Raimi and who would win in a fight.
Meanwhile, CBR has an early review of the film.
Speaking of us here at CBR, we've got another behind the eclipse segment with writers/producers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite.
HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Luke Goss is rejoining director Guillermo del Toro" in the Mike Mignola-minded sequel. "Goss will play Prince Nuada, a ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below, defying his bloodline to awaken an unstoppable army of creatures."
THE MAN OF STEEL
The Hollywood Reporter also talked to producer Jon Peters about the sequel. "Right now, Bryan Singer is working on the story," Peters said, "and hopefully, that will be a script by the end of the year. And hopefully, we'll be in preproduction by, say, January or February of next year. "Superman Returns" was an amazing effort. You're talking about a story that's been made before; you're talking about the fact that we had to re-explore his youth, his origin. And now, the second movie allows us to go do things that people haven't seen before."
FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER
The full length trailer for the Tim Story-helmed sequel has been posted at Apple.com in glorious QuickTime.
