The Dark Knight, G.I. Joe, Wolverine: August 24th Comic Reel Wrap

Either he's kidding or there's a lot we don't know -- IF Magazine was at a junket for the new film "3:10 to Yuma" where actor Christian Bale said, "Russell [Crowe]'s going to actually be in the new 'BATMAN' movie, which is a big surprise and I want to reveal it to everybody right now." The site implied that he may have been joking, but there's no conclusive answer either way.

Meanwhile, we got an email from Adam Fendelman at Hollywood Chicago to point out a report they have on the building that the production plans to obliterate.

Knowing is half the battle, and CBR News has the intel on the confirmed director straight from the celluloid battlefront, er, trades.

IF Magazine also talked to wrestler-turned-actor Tyler Mane about the upcoming spinoff. "I would love the opportunity to revisit Sabretooth and give him a little bit more, because I think he does deserve it," Mane said. "Victor Creed has a heck of a story and I would love the opportunity to be the one to bring him to the big screen once again. Whether or not that happens ..." However, Mane indicated that he's spoken with no one and has no idea what's happening behind the scenes.

Herosite was quick to note this YouTube clip with an alternate first appearance of Officer Matt Parkman ...

TV Guide reports that "America's Next Top Model" champion Eva Pigford "will guest-star as Tyler, a villainous beauty queen with a superpower. Pigford's alter ego shows up for the 100th annual Harvest Festival, where her competition in the Miss Sweet Corn Pageant (!) will include new cast member Kara, aka Supergirl. In an homage to Tyra Banks, the episode is titled 'Fierce.'"

Kryptonsite claims that tonight's 7PM ET/PT episode of "Attack of The Show" on G4 will include some big news about "Smallville," so keep your eyes peeled on the Comic Reel for any big news on Monday.

IGN has a new production still from the sequel.

Superhero Hype has some spoilers from a spy on the set. "I was just talking with a location scout on set of The Incredible Hulk who has told me that Younge Street in Toronto will be closed between Dundas and College from September 17th to the 19th. During this time they will be filming the final fight scene between The Abomination and The Hulk. Also at this time, they will be making this area of town look like New York. The Cannon Theatre will be made to look like the Apollo Theatre."

We can't do this without you. The rumors, the scoops, the set photos -- they're all fueled by passionate fans emailing in the goods. The ones who ask, "What do you mean your sister's dating somebody who works for Miles Millar?" The ones who know the code names of movie projects and scour city permit filings for them. The devoted, the involved. Fans, just like you. Whatever you know, we wanna know, and whether you want your name shouted to the web's rafters or kept closer than a classified report, we've got you covered like a comforter. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu saying thank you for your time and indulgence, and "enough talk -- let's go make with the 'biff' and the 'pow' already."
