The CW's new schedule graphic showed the times for several of its series, including All Americanthe FlashCharmedSuperman & LoisBlack Lightning and Batwoman.

While most of the shows on the schedule featured an image of their main character, former Batwoman star Ruby Rose was notably absent from the show's graphic. In her place, an image of the "Batwoman signal" was used. It is uncertain whether all future Batwoman promo images will exclude the actor.

It was recently announced that Rose would be leaving her role as Kate Kane after starring as the character for Batwoman's entire first season. There have been reports that Rose's exit from the role wasn't all her decision, though this hasn't been officially confirmed.

Despite Rose's departure, The CW will be releasing a second season of next year. While a new Batwoman hasn't been officially announced, several actors have already thrown their hats into the ring, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz and The Magicians' Jade Tailor.

The series began in 2019 and starred Rose's Kate Kane as she took up the moniker of Batwoman to protect Gotham City in Bruce Wayne's absence. The series introduced a number of characters from DC Comics, including Beth Kane, Luke Fox and the supervillain known as Hush.

Returning to The CW in Jan. 2021, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott and Nicole Kang. The series airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
