The CW has ordered six additional episodes of "iZombie," bringing the show's sophomore season up to nineteen episodes overall. Comparatively, the series' first season ran for thirteen episodes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "iZombie" -- which follows "The Flash" on Tuesday nights -- averages a 0.9 rating in the key demographic, with a total audience of 2.06 million in live-plus-seven.

The show, created by "Veronica Mars'" Rob Thomas, is based on the comic of the same name by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred and follows Olivia "Liv" Moore. Liv finds herself turned into a zombie following a boat party where an experimental energy drink debuted. In order to keep this a secret, she abandons her budding medical career to work in a morgue. Thanks to her ability to see flashbacks to the lives of those whose brains she's eating, she helps solve crimes for the local police department.

Starring Rose McIver, "iZombie" airs Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on The CW.
