The CW has revealed its top five most-streamed television series, with two DC Comics adaptations making the list: Stargirl and Batwoman.

According to the official list, The CW's most popular show among streaming viewers is Tell Me a Story. Stargirl comes in at second place, with Batwoman holding third. The two DC shows are followed by Nancy Drew and The 100, which occupy fourth and fifth place, respectively. The CW released the list as part of its "Back to Binge" campaign, which boasts all the aforementioned shows being available to stream for free on its website "with no subscription, log on or authentication required."

Batwoman premiered on The CW in October of 2019. Season 1 starred Ruby Rose as Kate Kane, who previously debuted during the Arrowverse's "Elseworlds" crossover event. The cousin of Bruce Wayne, Kate dons the Batwoman mantle to become Gotham City's new protector following Batman's mysterious disappearance. Batwoman Season 1 was originally slated to run for 22 episodes, but was shortened to 20 due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The series is slated to return for Season 2 in January 2021, with Javicia Leslie stepping in to play new main protagonist Ryan Wilder following Rose's departure from the series back in May.

Meanwhile, Stargirl premiered as a DC Universe original this past May. It stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore. The stepdaughter of Pat Dugan -- former sidekick to the superhero Starman -- Courtney takes up the Cosmic Staff as Stargirl, becoming the leader of the second incarnation of the Justice Society of America. Prior to the series' premiere, Stargirl and the JSA made a cameo in the Arrowverse's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event on The CW. Season 1 released new episodes weekly, which would first drop on DC Universe before airing on The CW the following day. Stargirl was renewed for Season 2, which will air as a CW exclusive sometime in 2021.
