The CW Has No Plans for "Constantine" At This Time

Don't hold your breath, "Constantine" fans -- it doesn't look like he'll return to The CW's lineup of DCTV shows anytime soon. According to IGN, Greg Berlanti revealed that he and his fellow executive producers "haven't really asked" about including the character in their shows.

"We haven't had any conversations with them about Constantine," he explained.

When asked about the character further, he added, "Constantine exists in a certain place in the DC world and universe." What's more, he believes "[the network is] kind of internally examining what they want to do with that character next."

However, "Legends of Tomorrow" executive producer Phil Klemmer has some ideas for the character, even if they won't be put into motion for a few years yet. "If this show goes as many seasons as I hope it does, it would be a crime for him not to appear in our universe," he told Zap2It.

The entire first season of "Constantine" is currently available to stream on CW Seed.
