The costume the late Brandon Lee wore on the set of The Crow has become as iconic as the makeup he donned. Now one person has dropped a hefty chunk of cash to own said costume.

The costume, including Lee's long black trenchcoat, leather pants and black shirt, sold for $25,000 this weekend at Kruse GWS Auctions. The costume features heavy signs of distress, including knife tears and bullet holes.

The costume was part of Kruse GWS' Artifacts of Hollywood & Music auction which featured 161 items, including various costumes and props from film history. Other notable items include a signed photo from the late Stan Lee and the costume Tommy Lee Jones wore in Batman Forever.

Based on the comic of the same name, The Crow (1994) follows musician Eric Draven (Lee), who is resurrected after a gang of thugs attack and kill him and his wife. He has the power to regenerate from any fatal wounds, as well as transfer and absorb pain.

Lee was tragically killed by a malfunctioning blank from a prop gun eight days before filming completed shooting. The movie was completed using CGI and Lee's stunt double Chad Stalheski, who went on to direct the three John Wick films.
