Chronicles of Narnia fans take heed: The film series will continue! According to Deadline, the Marc Gordon Company has jumped into the fray with plans to turn the fourth novel in C.S. Lewis' seven-part fantasy series into a film.

In The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair, several decades have passed in the magical realm, but in our world, it's been less than a year since the events of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (adapted for film in 2010). This time around, the son of King Caspian X is missing, and so Aslan calls upon English schoolchildren Eustace Scrubb (introduced in the previous novel and film) and Jill Pole to solve the mystery.

Disney and Walden Media partnered for the first two entries in the film series, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian, while Fox stepped in to distribute the third installment. The three combined have grossed a worldwide total of roughly $1.6 billion.
