The Boys star Jack Quaid shared a rare video with fans -- a pre-VFX shot from the series.

Quaid, who portrays Hughie on the Amazon Prime show, shared a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Season 1, Episode 1 on Instagram. The clip shows an actor in a motion-capture suit portraying Translucent and flinging Hughie throughout his prior workplace.

Quaid posted the raw footage with the caption, "#TBT to when I watched myself get my ass kicked by an invisible man."

The "ass-kick[ing]" callout shot is from the show's premiere episode, "The Name of the Game," when Translucent appears at the electronic store that Hughie works at to kill him. Translucent uses his invisibility to throw Hughie throughout the store, attempting to stop him from exposing the evilness of Vought. Hughie is then saved by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) driving his car straight into the electronic store and into the Supe. Butcher's saving Hughie ultimately leads them both to kidnap Translucent, which ends up forging 'The Boys.'

The Boys recently began filming its anticipated third season in Toronto. Although plot details have remained scarce, there are a few known details revealed, courtesy of showrunner Eric Kripke. The "Herogasm" comic book storyline will debut in the sixth episode of the upcoming season. Plans to bring the disturbingly raw orgy to life from the six-issue comic miniseries by Garth Ennis and John McCrea were in the works for the last year, but dependent on whether or not the now acclaimed Amazon Prime Video series would be renewed for a Season 3.

Kripke also shared that Homelander will be in a very dark and dangerous place through Season 3. "He’s kind of cornered," Kripke said. "They have this blackmail material on him, he was dating a Nazi, like he has a lot of problems and obviously the more you push him into a corner, the more dangerous it's going to be. So he's going to explode in Season 3."

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. Seasons 3 has yet to receive a premiere date.
