The Boys streaming series has Amazon to thank for its ability to shoot crazy, outrageous scenes.

Showrunner Eric Kripke answered burning questions from the fans about The Boys on Twitter. In response to a question about scenes that didn't make the cut, Kripke stated that they never had to throw out any outrageous pitches and thanked Amazon for its lack of censorship.

"We put it all into the show," Kripke said. "If there's something totally crazy and it works for the characters, we put it in. Amazon's been amazing about never really censoring that, so there kinda is no line."

This lack of censorship will also allow The Boys to explore even more outrageous scenes in Season 3, and Kripke told fans there's definitely more craziness to come.

"Season 3 is going to be so fucking crazy. Like, even in the first episode, like the first ten minutes of that episode, there is a sequence that I will not give away, that like literally every time we even talk about it, I cover my mouth. It's just so fucking bananas," Kripke added. "But we're also still going to go deeper into characters and keep exploring and really put characters forward, but fuck man, there's crazy shit coming."

The synopsis for Season 2 of The Boys can be found below.

The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social-media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront.
