The following contains spoilers for The Boys Season 3, streaming now on Prime Video.

While Prime Video's The Boys differs greatly from its source material, Season 3 and related media have made several references to Garth Ennis' twisted comic book universe. The season's fourth episode features a "supped up" version of a cuddly fan favorite, and previous episodes contain nods to cover art. The Boys' third season has also made repeated reference to an evil version of the X-Men. A twisted and depraved team of Supes with a dark and disturbing history, several key players in Ennis' G-Men have already appeared in some form.

Most of the G-Men’s key players – such as Cold Snap, Europo and Flamer – have only been briefly alluded to in Season 3. But, the appearance of Emma Frost-like figure, Silver Kincaid, both thrilled fans and put a popular fan theory to bed. The origins of the G-Men, created by deeply warped character Jon Godolkin – a disturbing parody of Charles Xavier – are nothing short of unsettling, and it is unknown how much of this twisted tale The Boys will be willing to adapt to screen. However, as the series often touches on the more unsavory facets of fundamentalist religion, political ideology and the entertainment industry, it is entirely possible that Silver Kincaid and the rest of her team will appear at some point.

The Boys Silver Kincaid

Season 2 of The Boys is largely considered better than the first. A fan-favorite episode entitled, "The Bloody Doors Off," features a mysterious and deadly character named Cindy. As the character has a similar power set to the Silver Kincaid of the comics, a popular fan theory claimed that the two were one and the same. Fitting as it might've been, however, Season 3 was quick to debunk the idea.

The Boys' actual depiction of the character appears in the second and third episodes of Season 3. Here, she's a contestant on the Vought-sponsored reality show, American Hero. Hailing from Birmingham, U.K., the live-action Silver Kincaid seems to be far less morally corrupt than her comic book counterpart.

Starlight is incredibly impressed by the hero's "rescue stats," and her status as an ambassador for UNICEF and considers granting her a spot in The Seven. While this well-meaning plan is ultimately foiled by Vought and Homelander's collective meddling, fans hope that they haven't seen the last of Silver Kincaid, as a morally upstanding hero is long overdue.

Season 3 Features a Nubia Easter Egg

The Boys Nubia

The Storm-esque Nubia appeared in one of only three canonical episodes of The Boys: Diabolical. Entitled "Nubian vs. Nubian," the episode detailed both her toxic marriage to and messy divorce from Black Panther-inspired Nubian Prince. And, both have already been featured in the live-action series.

Like Silver Kincaid, Nubia's comic book counterpart was also a member of G-Men. The deeply disturbing issue saw her as a re-animated corpse, brought back to some semblance of life by her twisted captor. The Boys seems to have granted her a far better fate, however, as – also similar to Silver Kincaid – she appeared to be vying for a spot in The Seven – perhaps in an attempt to outshine her ex – only to be sadly eliminated.

Ground Hawk Checks Into Rehab

Ground Hawk The Boys

While he's little more than a traumatized, animalistic beast in the comics, much like Nubia, The Boys: Diabolical has already established that Ground Hawk had a rich – albeit sad – inner life. Following his appearance as a washed-up "super villain" frustrated at his lack of human hands, a live-action Ground Hawk was alluded to in an in-universe news program. Smug, conservative host Cameron Coleman informs viewers that the once-formidable heel is in a rehab facility.

While he appeared to have met a gruesome end in the final moments of "Nubian vs. Nubian," fans hope that Ground Hawk is alive, well and recovering from his apparent abuse of alcohol. Though he was a major annoyance to his former colleagues, Ground Hawk displayed a humorous amount of self-awareness, and a willingness to help those in need – something that is currently lacking as The Boys becomes progressively darker.

Season 3 of The Boys is currently underway on Prime Video.
