In case The Boys fans forgot, the series' showrunner Eric Kripke fully plans on airing a Herogasm-themed episode in Season 3.The show's official Twitter account sent a reminder to fans, tweeting, "Comics fans, who's ready to see Herogasm on the small screen?"RELATED: Homelander Murders the Avengers, Faces Thanos in Bloody The Boys/MCU Mash-Up

Approximately a year ago, Kripke posted in a Reddit AMA, "We JUST figured out how to do Herogasm!! It'll come in Season 3 maybe (if we get picked up for Season 3). I've really wanted to do it, but needed to figure out our twist on it, so it's not just an hour of hardcore porn. But I think we got it!! Super excited about that."

Herogasm was a six-issue miniseries by Garth Ennis and John McCrea set in The Boys universe that saw the ragtag team infiltrate an annual, weekend-long Vought party. The party ends up being an annual superhero orgasm, paid for by Vought, to help its superheroes unwind from their duties with sex and drugs. In the comic miniseries, the event is covered by a faked public crisis to explain the sudden disappearance of Supes. While there, the team ended up discovering more about Vought's plans to infiltrate the White House.

Within the Herogasm miniseries, there is an infamous and dark sex-scene between Homelander and Solider Boy. Since Soldier Boy was recently cast as Jensen Ackles, fans speculated that this scene might appear in Season 3. As of now, there's been no firm confirmation if Kripke will revisit this moment.

The Boys will have a Season 3 and also a spinoff titled The G-Men, focusing on young-adult Supes, that's currently in the works at Amazon Prime Studios.

While there's no Season 3 synopsis released yet for The Boys, the series recently confirmed that Claudia Doumit and Colby Minifie, recurring stars on The Boys, have been promoted to series regulars for Season 3. Doumit portrayed Congresswoman Victoria Neuman and Minifie portrayed Ashley, Vought's Senior Vice President of Hero Management. Both casting decisions suggest that Season 3 will delve deeper into the political influence of Vought.

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
