The latest edition of Vought News Network's Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman -- the fictional news program set within the world of Amazon Prime Video's The Boys -- introduces a new supe named Moonshadow to the popular superhero satire.

About four minutes into the six-minute "newscast," Cameron Coleman announces that Moonshadow -- the "west coast, senses-shattering bombshell" -- will be appearing on the cover of the fictional Vought Sports' annual swimsuit issue. Coleman goes onto explain that the "San Diego-based superheroine continues to take charge with a body-positive persona that's seeing her popularity continue to go up as her city's crime rate keeps going down."

Coleman concludes the segment by declaring that Moonshadow is "one rising hero that Vought executives -- and the rest of the world -- won't be able to take their eyes off of."

Based on the comic book series of the same name created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson, The Boys follows a group of vigilantes who push back against corrupt superheroes, or "supes," who abuse their power and celebrity status. The series dropped its first season on Prime Video in July 2019, with Season 2 premiering in September 2020. Production is currently underway on Season 3, with the show reportedly landing an early Season 4 pickup.

The Boys Season 3 currently lacks a premiere date, though it is expected to arrive on Prime Video either late this year or early next year. The new season will introduce a number of new supes, most notably Soldier Boy, played by Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles.
