The Boys are striking back in the latest teaser for the Prime Video series' seventh episode.

The teaser features the return of Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), who disappeared after a dispute with Homelander (Antony Starr) earlier in Season 3. Seemingly trapped in some sort of prison cell, Maeve is seen taunting Homelander in the teaser, telling him, "Today is the day I saw you scared." The teaser also includes Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) speaking to an unknown individual, possibly Homelander, and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), Butcher (Karl Urban) and Hughie (Jack Quaid) continuing their team-up from "Herogasm" and preparing for the next fight.

The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke also teased fans that the upcoming episode will feature some of his favorite scenes from the third season. "This one has a couple of my all-time fave moments for Butcher, Soldier Boy & Noir," he wrote on social media. Black Noir went off the grid in "Herogasm" after learning that Soldier Boy was hunting down and killing the former members of his team Payback. Since Black Noir was responsible, along with the rest of Payback, for selling Soldier Boy to Russia, fans are expecting the two superheroes to exchange blows before the end of Season 3.

Ackles previously teased fans about what they should expect in the last two episodes of Season 3. "There's some heavy, heavy secrets that I can't talk about," the actor revealed. "Just know that Kripke has always got stuff up his sleeve and I was, hopefully, just as shocked as you and everyone else will be when I read that particular script and was just like, 'Woah, wait, what?' I had to sit down."
