Good news for fans of The Boys. Just weeks after MAFEX announced its Homelander figure, Medicom teased that a new MAFEX Billy Butcher action figure inspired by Karl Urban's take on the character is in the works.

While few details about the Butcher figurine have been revealed, an image posted on the Medicom Toy Instagram page appears to show that the figurine will include a fabric coat, as well as the laser beam eyed baby from Season 1.

News of the Billy Butcher figure comes about two months after Medicom announced it would release a figure inspired by Antony Starr's portrayal of Homelander. Back in November, Medicom posted a close-up shot of the Homelander figure's back, which featured the evil supe's signature American flag cape and eagle head pauldrons on the shoulders. At the time, Medicom also seemed to tease that more figurines inspired by The Boys were on the way. It's believed the Homelander figurine will measure six inches in height, and that the Butcher figurine will be comparable in size.

Starr recently confirmed that production on Season 3 will begin in Toronto, Canada, in February. "We haven't got a specific date yet, but in the not-too-distant future, within a month or so," Starr said. "I think, because of COVID and because we're shooting in the winter, which is going to be a little difficult, it limits us to the interior [shooting of scenes], initially." He added, "So it's a very staggered intake of the cast to the shooting schedule this season."

Showrunner Eric Kripke also recently confirmed that a highly-anticipated Herogasm-themed episode would air sometime in Season 3. Specifically, Kripke teased that they were bringing the massive superhero orgy from the comics to life by posting a photo of the title page from The Boys' Season 3, Episode 6 script on Twitter. He added the caption, "From day one, everyone dared me to make this episode. CHALLENGE MET MOTHERFUCKERS." The photo also revealed that the episode's title will be "Herogasm."

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
