In Season 2, Episode 6 of The Boys, the show introduced the character Love Sausage, a patient at Sage Grove mental facility who has a large, prehensile penis. In the same episode, Love Sausage used his appendage to strange Mother's Milk.

Speaking with EW, showrunner Eric Kripke recently discussed what went into creating that scene -- and how the craftsmen designed the appendage for the now infamous chokehold.

Kripke confirmed that for the scene to look realistic enough, their design teams created a "10-foot animatronic dick puppet." Computer-generated effects were added in as well to help with the appearance of its slithering movement. "We're in these long meetings," he said, revealing a large amount of time went into creating the fake penis. "Where these craftsmen and experts are asking me about the number of veins."

In The Boys comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robinson, Love Sausage/Vasilii Vorishikin is a former Russian police officer who served as an ally to Billy Butcher and the gang. In Season 2, Episode 6 of Amazon's The Boys, the character is one of the adult patients that Vought injected with Compound V. Love Sausage attacked Mother's Milk in an attempt to escape the Sage Grove facility.

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. New episodes of Season 2 release Fridays on Amazon Prime Video.
