The Boys star Karl Urban received his opportunity to feel like Batman.

At SXSW, The Batman's Batmobile was on display, as seen on the big screen with actor Robert Pattison's dark knight behind the wheel while chasing down the Penguin. Urban was in attendance at the event alongside many of his The Boys costars, which is when the first trailer for Season 3 of the Prime Video series finally released. Posted on Twitter is a photo of Urban posing with the Batmobile, though he was not the only actor from The Boys to do so that weekend.

Urban originally posted the image on his Instagram in response to actor Jensen Ackles, who took a similar photo with the Batmobile and shared it on his account. Urban wrote on the post, "Who wore it better?" before admiring the car and praising The Batman. "Incredible to see it up-close," Urban added. "The attention to detail was astonishing, very [Mad Max] in the best possible way. Congrats to Matt Reeves and his production design team. The Batman was epic fun!"

Ackles, on the other hand, kept his comments on the car brief. Though he is used to driving a 1967 Chevy Impala on the set of Supernatural, he wrote, "Saw this during [SXSW]... I definitely dig the car."

The Supernatural alum joins The Boys in its third season as Soldier Boy, a twist on Marvel's Captain America. While speaking during the series' SXSW panel alongside Urban and other stars, Ackles teased the intensity of Season 3 and its upcoming "Herogasm" episode. Ackles recalled a memory from when the episode was being filmed, in which he saw the show's camera operator with a "troubled look on his face," saying that he responded to Ackles with "Man, I've seen some shit today!"

Though The Boys appeared at SXSW at the same time as the The Batman's Batmobile, the two projects will be three months apart in terms of their release dates. The Batman hit theaters on March 4, while The Boys Season 3 will not land on Prime Video until June 2022. Anticipation is high for the series, though there is an animated spinoff -- The Boys Presents: Diabolical -- to hold fans over for the time being. Coincidentally, the spinoff debuted the same day as The Batman.

The Batman is still in theaters to watch as well, though it was recently dethroned as the box office's top-performing film in a single weekend by The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. Despite this, The Batman has surpassed all of the character's previous appearances in the DC Extended Universe, beating out Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016) and Justice League (2017) at the domestic box office with $331.95 million.

The Batman can be experienced on the big screen, while The Boys Season 3 begins streaming June 3 on Prime Video.
