Prime Video recently announced Fanimation Week, a social/digital celebration headlined by Invincible and The Boys Presents: Diabolical.
Executed by Prime Video's FanologyPV team, Fanimation Week will begin Jan. 17 and go through Jan. 23, which will celebrate "all things adult animation" on the streaming service, including exclusive content from Prime Video originals like Invincible, Undone, The Legend of Vox Machina and The Boys' animated spinoff series, Diabolical. Every morning of the weeklong social media event, a lineup of the day's upcoming content will be released across FanologyPV's social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST.
Each day of Fanimation Week will be geared towards a specific realm of animation, starting with Anime Monday, which will highlight all of the anime titles currently available on Prime Video, including the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. As the week continues, FanologyPV will also spotlight the anticipated animated adaptation of Critical Role's The Legend of Vox Machina, a result of "the most successful Kickstarter campaign of all time," which is set to release Jan. 28. The lineup also includes a rewatch-a-thon of Invincible's first season and, closing out the week, a series of influencer Twitch watch parties.
On top of all the exclusive content set to arrive during Fanimation Week, Prime video also announced that fans will be able to watch episodes of each series without the paywall starting on Jan. 17, all the way through the end of February. This includes Episodes 1-5 of Fairfax, the first four episodes of Invincible, the complete first season of Undone and both Evangelion: Evangelion 3.33 and Evangelion 3.0+1.0.
