The following article contains spoilers for The Boys Season 3, Episode 6, "Herogasm," now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The Boys released behind-the-scenes footage showing off the production of Season 3's "Herogasm" episode, including how a certain NSFW sequence involving Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso) was achieved.

The behind-the-scenes footage breaks down the moment where MM opens a door at the titular Herogasm event only to get covered in male ejaculate. The video, which is captioned "Mother's Milk, meet Father's Milk," shows Alonso being shot with an air cannon rigged to fire some kind of artificial fluid before he bows his head in disgust and closes the doors again.

More footage of the episode's production was posted shortly after "Herogasm" premiered showing the creation of the fight between Homelander and Soldier Boy, played by Antony Starr and Jensen Ackles respectively. The video shows Starr and Ackles wired up to create the moment where Homelander flies at Soldier Boy and slams him into a wall.

Considering the limits placed on film and TV productions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, creating one of the most infamous stories in The Boys proved troublesome for the crew. Jack Quaid, who stars as Hughie Campbell in The Boys, recently a humorous recurring incident that would occur during the production of the episode. "It was the COVID season," Quaid said. "So we had a lot of places where you have hand sanitizer, and I overheard a crew member say, 'Oh man, I got the lube bottle confused with the hand sanitizer bottle.' And he had just lube all over his hands." Quaid also described "Herogasm" as being "one of the best episodes we've ever done."

First premiering in 2019, The Boys has become one of Amazon's most popular series and has garnered plenty of devoted fans. One surprising fan of the series is former U.S. President Barack Obama, who was apparently rumored to appear during Season 3's "Imagine" parody, although showrunner Eric Kripke recently confirmed that this was never a serious consideration by the writers. "[At] no point were we going to call Obama," Kripke explained. "I think we would definitely call Obama and get him in the show, but that would not be the favor I would call in, if I had a line to President Obama."

The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video. The seventh episode of Season 3, titled "Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed," premieres on July 1.
