New casting descriptions have surfaced for the college-set spinoff of The Boys.

The Illuminerdi revealed casting breakdowns for the leads of the upcoming Boys spinoff series, which will take place at a university for future superheroes. Run by Vought, the show will be a darker version of the X-Men or My Hero Academia, mixing a realistic portrayal of the college experience with the dark superhero satire that The Boys is known for.

Marie Moreau is “a little Black girl from the Caribbean" who dreams of becoming "one of the world’s greatest superheroes.” She's described as incredibly intelligent and funny but also ruthless in her pursuit of excelling at school and honoring her home. She has “the pride of her nation and her family’s financial future riding on her shoulders” as the first superhero from the Caribbean.

Emma "would give you the shoes off her feet if you ask and then apologize that they’re a little scuffed.” She's described as incredibly thoughtful and kind but also hides a dark secret that she believes will drive people away if they learn about it. Her mother is also a popular Supe.

Jordan and Mark Lee are Asian-American twins. Jordan is described as very cool and "a pansexual hedonist superhero always looking to get drunk, get laid, or get high” Inside she's actually very insecure, hiding her worries in partying. She'll have to deal with the challenges of no longer being able to coast on her abilities when she finds herself up against her classmates. Her brother, Mark, is similar to Jordan, but she tries pushing him to do better than she does. He'll struggle with trying to work hard and get ahead in the cutthroat school.

Britney is a former teen star on the Vought musical TV show Britney Out Loud! who loses everything after a drug scandal is revealed. She schemes her way into the college but is hiding a bigger secret.

Andre, AKA Polarity, is a Black sophomore with “rockstar swagger, quick wit, and a swoon-worthy smile.” He's cocky but loyal and his father is a former Supe who now serves as his coach. Their relationship, however, is more toxic than it seems.

Marie, Emma, Jordan, Mark, Britney, and Andre are all said to be series regulars. They'll be joined by Golden Boy, who at one point was meant to be played by Nick Jonas. Golden Boy is 22 and “possesses thermonuclear power and pure charisma.” Golden Boy lives up to his name as the next star Supe. He is gracious and kind and doesn't appear to have suffered negatively from being raised to be a star superhero. Essentially, he's a more well-adjusted version of Homelander.

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The spinoff show does not yet have a title or release date.
