The Boys is beloved for its realistic portrayal of the consequences of superheroism. While there is a good dose of humor in the show, that doesn't stop the series from taking things in rather gory directions. It's a warts-and-all look at superheroes in a world where the Supes are the ultimate protected class. Many characters in The Boys, even ones who fans love, deserve some kind of punishment for their actions.

One of the most fun parts about watching The Boys is seeing the characters get their just deserves. So far, some characters have gotten off rather easily but deserve a heap of retribution for their reprehensible actions.

10 Ashley Barret Has Been Rubber Stamping Everything Homelander Has Done

The Boys Ashley Barrett

Ashley Barret isn't a Supe, but she's still profited from their acts. As Madelyn Stillwell's former assistant, Ashley rose to greater heights in the company after Stillwell's death. The whole time, she worked to keep the Seven's wrongdoing under wraps, allowing them to get away with some pretty terrible acts. She protected them because it was in her interest.

While Ashley was definitely in danger, she kept everything going and facilitated the actions of the Seven's worst members. Her hands are just as dirty as everyone else's. She's not completely irredeemable and the stress has certainly got to her, but she still deserves punishment.

9 Little Nina Is Responsible For A Lot Of Death And Pain

Little Nina looking stern in The Boys

Little Nina runs a Russian mob family in New York City and is the former employer of Frenchie. Frenchie was her favorite killer, and she treated him like a dog, sending him out to do her bidding while plying him with drugs and sex. She isn't a Supe, but she has connections all over the criminal world and has caused untold suffering.

Beyond all the death that has filled her coffers, whether it be because of drugs, robbery, or assassinations, Little Nina psychologically tortured Frenchie and countless others. She was able to escape Kimiko and Frenchie, but that doesn't mean the two of them aren't going to come after her for payback.

8 Grace Mallory Got Up To Some Terrible Things In The CIA

Butcher Talks To Grace Mallory in The Boys

Grace Mallory is a former lieutenant colonel in the CIA. She helped train Butcher and MM, but before that, she worked with the Supe team Payback in South America. The CIA's time in South America in the '80s was all about trafficking cocaine and putting down communist uprisings against the US allies. Mallory was in charge of this sort of thing for years.

Mallory may be retired, but she is not a good person. An argument can be made that she was working for the "good guys," but the violent campaigns she helped plan and the drugs she procured killed thousands. She definitely deserves some payback for all of that.

7 Queen Maeve May Have Deserved To Get Away But She's Not Blameless

Queen Maeve is an interesting character. She became more sympathetic as time went on and showed actual remorse for all the things she was involved in, but that doesn't mean all's forgiven. The ability to feel guilt is uncommon among most of the Seven, but Maeve was still culpable in a lot of very bad things.

Even just allowing Homelander to keep operating the way he did, knowing exactly what kind of person he is, was bad enough. It's hard to say how much retribution Maeve deserves, but her getting off blameless for years of wrongdoing and covering for the Seven merits some punishment.

6 A-Train Has Gotten Away With Everything

A-Train with arms stretched out

Season three was a big step forward for A-Train compared to other seasons. The loss of his powers and dealing with the racism of many Supes made him sympathetic, but that doesn't mean that A-Train has suddenly become a good person. He kept his mouth shut about Homelander out of fear and there's no doubt he killed countless innocent people over the years.

It's easy to look at A-Train's journey as a person and say that he's a better person now. That doesn't change the recklessness of his earlier years, the damage he did, and the damage done because he wouldn't speak out.

5 Victoria Neuman Paved The Way For Vought To Gain More Power In Secret

Victoria Neuman in The Boys Season 3

The Boys is full of Supes who have done disturbing things, but few of them had the impact of Victoria Neuman. Victoria was raised in secret by Stan Edgar and developed telekinetic powers. She used these abilities to quietly kill anyone in Vought's way, allowing Edgar and the company to gain even more power. Her political career gave her a new chance to help Edgar's agenda.

Neuman gave the appearance of being a crusading woman of the people, but she was another corporate shill. Eventually, she'd sell out Edgar and help Homelander. Now a candidate for vice-president, she's about to reach a level of power she shouldn't have.

4 The Deep Is A Spineless Abuser

The Deep posing

The Deep doesn't have the greatest powers, but in the contest for the best bootlicker, he'd win. The Deep is a sexual predator, something he proved when Starlight joined the team. Incidents like that aren't a one-off, so there's no telling how many women he abused over the years. On top of that, he's completely spineless and will do whatever it takes to stay in the spotlight.

The Deep may not be the terrible killer that Homelander is, but like other high-level Vought employees, he's culpable for Homelander's crimes. On top of that, he's abused an unknown but certainly high number of women over the years. He's a monster, just a different type from some others.

3 Soldier Boy Is Reprehensible

Soldier Boy holds his damaged shield in defense in The Boys

Soldier Boy's debut in season three showed just how dangerous he could be. Vought's original golden boy, he led the superhero community for years. His history of alcohol and drug dependence was kept secret, as were the countless times he physically and mentally abused his teammates in Payback. There's also no telling how many innocent people died because of him, but the number was definitely large.

Solider Boy's time in Russian captivity saw him become more dangerous, as he gained the power to drain the abilities of other Supes. He wasn't as physically powerful as his son Homelander, but he was more skilled and experienced. His defeat saw him put back on ice by the CIA, but he deserved much worse.

2 Billy Butcher Believes That The Ends Justify The Means

The Boys' Billy Butcher holding a teacup.

Billy Butcher is one of the show's protagonists but calling him a hero is a road too far. Billy's terrible upbringing and subsequent tutelage with Mallory created an amoral man who would do anything to complete his mission. The loss of his wife compounded that, and his war against Homelander and the Supes showed the lengths he was willing to go to.

Billy has killed a lot of people. He's also fine with using and hurting the people he cares about in order to win. He's done so many terrible things over the years that him getting away blameless would be awful.

1 Homelander Is The Worst Person With Superpowers On Earth

Homelander standing in front of an American flag

Very few of the Supes are actually the heroes they pretend to be, but Homelander is the worst of them. He's a complete and total predator in every way, and he does these things because he enjoys them. He also gets away with nearly everything, as the consequences of his malicious actions frequently miss him.

If anyone deserves to suffer, it's Homelander. He's the heart of darkness and everyone is afraid of him. Most of the people in the know either want him dead or are perfectly willing to profit off enabling him. He's done enough monstrous things to deserve all the retribution in the world.
