The Boys features a number of superheroes parodying iconic fictional characters, such as Aquaman's counterpart, The Deep.

Artist BossLogic recently recreated the film poster for Warner Bros.' Aquaman, this time featuring Chace Crawford in the golden, scaled armor of Aquaman. In place of Mera, Crawford's King of the Seven Seas is accompanied by a dolphin.

The Deep was introduced in Amazon Prime Video's The Boys as a member of The Seven-- a team comprised of the most powerful superheroes Vought has to offer. While The Deep has command of aquatic life, he is seldom taken seriously by his opponents or even his colleagues.

Starring Jason Momoa as the titular supehero, 2018's Aquaman was directed by James Wan and opened to widespread critical acclaim from both critics and audiences alike. The film grossed $1.14 billion on a budget of approximately $200 million. Momoa will appear as Aquaman once again in Zack Snyder's Justice League, set to air on HBO Max in 2021.

The Boys recently concluded Season 2, which aired weekly on Prime Video. The series loosely adapts the graphic novel series of the same name, created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Amazon's adaptation follows Hughie, Billy Butcher, Starlight, The Female, Mother's Milk and Frenchie in their efforts to take down both The Seven and Vought. The series has been renewed for a third season.
