The Boys "announced" a new movie is coming to Vought TV+ for the holidays that looks suspiciously similar to beloved Christmas classic Love Actually.

The official in-universe Twitter account for Vought International, The Boys' villainous mega-corporation, unveiled a poster for the spoof. The text alongside the poster claims the movie, titled Noir, Really, was filmed in secret and that it would hit theaters "this Christmas." The image sees Black Noir holding up a sign that reads, "To me, you are super," referencing an infamous scene from Love Actually starring The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln.

The Love Actually scene in question stars Lincoln as Mark and Kiera Knightley as Juliet. Earlier in the film, Mark was revealed to be secretly in love with Juliet, who had recently married Mark's best friend Peter (Chiwetel Ejiofor). In an attempt at closure, Mark shows up at Peter and Juliet's home with a boombox and large cue cards. Through the cards, Mark confesses his love for Juliet "without hope or agenda," telling her she's "perfect." The scene became an internet meme in subsequent years, with users replacing the text on the cue cards with silly, ironic or depraved phrases.

The Boys Has a Parody for Everything

Aside from social media, The Boys is no stranger to spoofing pop culture and current events. Most recently, the Season 3 episode "Glorious Five-Year Plan" saw A-Train star in a pitch-perfect parody of Pepsi's infamous commercial starring Kendall Jenner, which was widely criticized for appearing to trivialize the Black Lives Matter movement.

As for the Vought International tweet's claim that Black Noir is on an "extended mission overseas," The Boys fans will know this is simply a cover for Noir's untimely demise. At the end of Season 3, the merciless Homelander kills Noir after the silent Supe withheld knowledge that Homelander's biological father was Soldier Boy.

The Boys is deep in production on the Prime Video series' fourth season, which executive producer Seth Rogen said will up the ante when it comes to unpredictability. "Just when I think I can't be more shocked by what they're doing over there, they find a way to shock me even more," he said.
