In honor of Friday the 13th, Prime Video's The Boys released a short clip featuring Black Noir at his creepiest.

Shared to The Boys' official Twitter account, the clip showcases some of Black Noir's creepiest moments and homages the iconic slasher film franchise that began in 1980 with Friday the 13th. The series even compared the Supe to the franchise's antagonist, Jason Voorhees, writing in the caption, "Just call him Jason Noir-hees."

Played by Nathan Mitchell in the Prime Video series, Black Noir is the Seven's most mysterious Supe, never speaking or revealing his face. While little is known about him, it was teased in an episode of "Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman" that Black Noir's Season 3 arc would involve Cindy, a homicidal and extremely dangerous Supe. Introduced in Season 2, Episode 6, "The Bloody Doors Come Off," Cindy has telekinetic powers giving her the ability to implode a human being, and Vought will seemingly dispatch Black Noir to deal with the threat in the third season.

The Boys is based on the comic series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson and the first two seasons of the show, created by Eric Kripke, first aired on Prime Video. The Boys released the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited third season, which offered a first live-action look at Ackles as Soldier Boy, Laurie Holden's Crimson Countess in action and Billy Butcher's newfound superpowers. While little has been revealed about the season's plot, it will introduce several other new cast members, including Sean Patrick Flannery as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk, Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic, Frances Turner as Monique, Kristen Booth and Jack Doolan as Tessa and Tommy/the TNT Twins and Katia Winter as Little Nina.

The Boys wrapped filming on its third season in September of last year and has already reportedly been picked up for Season 4. The long-awaited third season began filming in late Jan. 2021 in Toronto following production delays due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The release date for the third season was officially announced after a lengthy wait, with both Kripke and The Boys' social media periodically teasing Season 3, while also poking fun at anxious fans who repeatedly asked for updates, at one point stating that the season would not premiere until "2033."

Season 3 has been teased as the bloodiest installment of the Prime Video series yet, with Kripke promising a mind-blowing premiere, calling the first episode the "craziest" thing the show has accomplished thus far. Season 3 of The Boys premieres on Prime Video June 3. Seasons 1 and 2 will be available on DVD and Blu-ray May 31.
