The Boys may depict the character Homelander as a super-powered scourge, but a cuter version arrived at San Diego Comic-Con.

The official Twitter account of the Amazon Prime television hit posted photos of attendees in Boys cosplay, most notably a baby dressed as series the show's sociopathic antagonist, Homelander. The post is captioned: "Chuffed to see Baby Homelander and Ambrosia made it to #SDCC."

Homelander, played by Anthony Starr, has been featured on The Boys since Season 1. He is the leader of the corporate-created superhero group The Seven, and will do just about whatever it takes to take down the superhero hunters of The Boys.

Fans will likely get to see more of Homelander's diabolical antics soon since an order for The Boys Season 4 was recently confirmed by Amazon. This decision came shortly after the premiere of Season 3, which had a 17% increase in viewership from the Season 2 premiere for its first episode. It also saw an impressive 234% viewership increase from the first episode of Season 1.

According to the head of global television at Amazon Studios, Vernon Sanders, the decision to bring the Boys back was an easy one. In a statement about the renewal, showrunner Eric Kripke joked "this is the first time in history that exploding genitalia has led to further success."

The Boys, which is based on the comic series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, premiered in 2019. The show follows a group of vigilantes, and stars Chace Crawford as The Deep, Karl Urban as William "Billy" Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hugh "Hughie" Campbell Jr., Erin Moriarty as Annie January/Starlight, Dominique McElligott as Maggie Shaw/Queen Maeve, Lax Alonso as Marvin T. "Mother's" Milk, Tomer Capone as Frenchie, Jessie T. Usher as Reggie Franklin/A-Train, Nathan Mitchell as Earving/Black Noir, and Karen Fukuhara as The Female.
