Prime Video recently dropped a new teaser for The Boys Presents: Diabolical-- a raunchy burger ad showcasing the hilarious, raunchy, superhero-filled world of  the animated show.

The 8 episode animated anthology show is set in the universe of the award-winning series The Boys. It is set to premiere all episodes on March 4 exclusively on Prime Video. Each episode will be between 12-14 minutes and each with its own animation style.

Aside from Vought's restaurant chain, the teaser also offers a glimpse at some of the many characters the show is set to introduce. Among returning actors, including Antony Starr, Chace Crawford, Elisabeth Shue, Simon Pegg and Giancarlo Esposita, the voice cast of the show features voice work from major stars including Awkwafina, Michael Cera, Don Cheadle, Kieran Culkin, Eliot Glazer, Jason Isaacs, Kumail Nanjiani, Justin Roiland, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Ben Schwartz, Christian Slater, Kevin Smith, Nasim Pedrad, Kenan Thompson, Aisha Tyler, and Oscar-winner Youn Yuh Jung. Prime Video teased even more actors to be announced soon.

The show will explore the unseen stories within The Boys universe, each one concocted by the likes of Awkwafina, Garth Ennis, Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg and Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Roiland and Ben Bayouth, Samberg and Tyler.

The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke recently touched on the upcoming anthology series, explaining how it fits into the canon and the kind of quality content that audiences can expect to see. On social media, the showrunner wrote, "A couple are canon, rest are just insane. And you guys, trust me, they turned out so so good."

Prime Video announced The Boys Presents: Diabolical during a 2021 virtual Comic-Con panel. Upon its announcement, EPs Rogen and Goldberg stated, "Ever since we saw the animated film The Animatrix, a series of short animated films set in the universe of The Matrix, we've wanted to rip it off... Today that dream has come true."

In addition, Kripke teased at the time, "We gathered together some incredible creators and we gave them one rule… just kidding, there's no rules. They blew the doors off it, delivering eight completely unexpected, funny, shocking, gory, moist, emotional episodes. You think The Boys is nuts? Wait till you see this."

The first two seasons of The Boys are currently available for streaming on Prime Video. Season 3 is currently in production, but a release date has not yet been announced.
