The odds of Matt Reeves' The Batman failing are slim to none, but Robert Pattinson is still preparing for the worst-case scenario.

In an interview with The GuardianPattinson was asked what he would do if his version of the Caped Crusader failed to live up to his and fans' expectations. After thinking about it for a minute, he jokingly replied, “Porn.“But art house porn.”

Over the last few weeks, the DC film has found most of its supporting cast to star alongside Robert Pattinson's Batman. Zoë Kravitz will portray Catwoman, while Andy Serkis will star as Bruce's trusted butler, Alfred. Jeffrey Wright was cast as Commissioner Gordon and Paul Dano will take on the role of the Riddler. Finally, Peter Sarsgaard recently joined the cast in an undisclosed role.

Pattinson takes over the role from Ben Affleck, who donned the cape for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. He joins Val Kilmer, Lewis G. Wilson, Robert Lowery, Adam West, Micheal Keaton, George Clooney, Christian Bale and Kevin Conroy as those that have portrayed some version of Bruce Wayne in live-action.

Directed and co-written by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard. The film arrives June 25, 2021.
