Warner Bros. Pictures' latest posters for The Batman shine a spotlight on Bruce Wayne's personal life.

In the first of the two posters, the camera focuses on Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Batman, drawing attention to his steely gaze. Hidden inside Pattinson's eye is a question mark -- the signature symbol of the Ridder, the film's primary villain. The image also bears the caption "Unmask the truth," which appears in typeface consistent with other Riddler teases. In the second poster, Batman stands alongside Zoë Kravitz's Catwoman. Pattinson's eyes are covered in shadow, making it unclear if he is focusing his attention on Gotham City or the unmasked Selina Kyle.

In The Batman, the Dark Knight defends Gotham from a series of attacks perpetrated by Paul Dano's Riddler, a terrorist whose incredible intellect is more dangerous than any explosive. The Batman's latest trailer featured narration from Dano as he announced his plan to "unmask the truth about this cesspool we call a city" while also revealing the Riddler has connected his strikes to the Wayne family legacy. The footage also implies that the Riddler knows Batman is Bruce Wayne in disguise.

The Riddler isn't the only colorful personality interested in the Dark Knight's personal life in The Batman. The film's trailer indicated Batman will form a tense relationship with Catwoman, with Bruce admitting to Alfred that he doesn't know if he considers her a friend or not. Though the footage indicated that the two will fight each another during The Batman, it also highlighted the budding romance between "The Bat and the Cat," with Batman paying a visit to the home of Catwoman's alter-ego, Selina Kyle. Still, the Dark Knight won't be as forthcoming with his secrets, as the trailer features Catwoman asking, "Who are you under there? What are you hiding?"

Bruce Wayne's fight to defend Gotham City has earned The Batman a PG-13 rating for "strong, violent and disturbing content." This rating surprised fans, many of whom believed Matt Reeves' gritty depiction of Batman would warrant an adult-oriented R rating. However, sources close to The Batman's production revealed that since the film doesn't have excessive foul language or nudity, it was able to secure Warner Bros. Pictures' desired PG-13 rating, making the movie more accessible to a broader audience.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4 and will be available to stream on HBO Max beginning April 19.
