It's been a few weeks since production on Matt Reeves' The Batman began and eager fans are already being treated to dozens of leaked photos from the set in London. The latest ones seem to offer a first look at Colin Farrell as the Gentleman of Crime himself: The Penguin. The photos, posted on Twitter by Wade Gravett, were taken from a distance and most of them feature the film crew or Gotham City vehicles and police, but at least two of them contain a figure that resembles Colin Farrell in a black coat, with an umbrella in hand and blonde hair, possibly giving us Farrell in costume as Oswald Cobblepot.RELATED: The Batman: First Set Photos Reveal Look at Matt Reeves' Film

As exciting as it would be to see what a young, blonde version of Penguin might look like in Reeves' film, it should be noted that even the photographer himself isn't entirely sure if the figure in the photo is, in fact, Farrell. His stylish attire does resemble some of the staple features of the classic Batman villain, but it's not exactly solid proof; it's not like umbrellas are solely used by Batman's longtime enemy, after all.

Directed and co-written by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard. The film arrives June 25, 2021.
