The working title for Matt Reeves' upcoming film, The Batman, was revealed courtesy of star Robert Pattinson's set chair.

In a recently released set photo, Pattinson's chair is shown with the word "Vengeance" written just above the actor's name. Many in the photo's comments were guessing the working title could be a clue to the film's plot, as official details have yet to be released.

The Batman was previously reported to have the working title "Vengeance," though this wasn't officially confirmed by Matt Reeves or Warner Bros.

It's worth noting that one of the most popular quotes from Batman: The Animated Series was, "I am vengeance! I am the night! I am Batman!," which was said by Kevin Conroy's Dark Knight. This means the working title could fall in line with recent reports that The Batman will take cues from Batman: The Animated Series.

The Batman will show Robert Pattinson taking over the role of Bruce Wayne, who was most recently played on the big screen by Ben Affleck in 2017's Justice League. The first look at Pattinson in the film's Batsuit was recently released by director Matt Reeves.
