Since his casting was announced, the Internet has been at odds over the idea of Robert Pattinson as Batman. Responses have ranged anywhere from fan outrage to intrigue, with many wondering just how exactly Pattinson's take on the Dark Knight will play out. However, while much of the film remains a mystery, the actor did give a small inkling about his Batman voice.

"[Willen Dafoe's] voice in this is quite inspiring for it to be honest," Pattinson told Access. "I'm kind of --it is pretty similar to the voice I'm gonna do." The 33-year-old actor laughed before playfully adding, "I think Batman has a sort of kind of pirate-y voice. I think that really suits him."
