Recently, a rumor surfaced indicating that actor Oscar Isaac (X-Men: Apocalypse, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) was being considered for an unnamed role in Matt Reeves' The Batman film, but a new rumor seems to have debunked this.RELATED: Oscar Isaac Has a Suggestion for Last Jedi HatersIn a tweet made earlier today by Heroic Hollywood founder Umberto Gonzalez, Gonzalez claims that Warner Bros. has not met with Isaac for a role in the film, but also that the studio still don't have a script for the movie. Isaac has been busy filming Star Wars: Episode IX and has only taken time off to do a press release for Operation Finale in New York.

There might still be a chance that Warner Bros. is considering Isaac for a role in The Batman but have yet to get in touch with him due to his schedule. The casting is still just a rumor, and the ultimate fate of the Dark Knight's upcoming solo film is unknown, given all the problems plaguing the movie's production, furthered by Affleck's recent entry into rehab for alcoholism.
