Westworld star Jeffrey Wright was recently confirmed to be playing Batman's longtime ally Commissioner Gordon -- previously portrayed by actor J.K. Simmons in 2017's Justice League -- in director Matt Reeves' The Batman. Wright -- who still star alongside the latest actor to play the Caped Crusader, Robert Pattinson -- recently shared his thoughts on his trip to the world of the Dark Knight as production on the film begins.

On his personal Twitter account, Wright shared a tweet that summed up the aforementioned trip in only a few words. "Woke up jet lagged at 10 p.m. thinking I was late," Wright stated. "4:45 a.m. now. Off to Gotham." Appropriately enough, Wright ended the tweet with a bat emoji.
