Filming on The Batman started this month in London. Some of the first photos from The Batman film set arose last week, showing a figure on a motorcycle. While the person on the motorcycle was hidden by a helmet, many speculate it was the film's star Robert Pattinson.

It's been said that The Batman is planned to be the first part of a trilogy. The film's plot has been kept secret, though some have guessed it will follow the classic Batman comic storyline, The Long Halloween. Many characters that appear in the The Long Halloween have been cast for the film, including Carmine Falcone, Catwoman and Riddler.

Directed and co-written by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard. The film arrives June 25, 2021.
