Warner Bros. has made significant changes to the upcoming release dates for its DC Extended Universe films The Batman, The FlashShazam 2 and Black Adam.

The Batman starring Robert Pattinson is moving from Oct. 1, 2021 to March 4, 2022. Ezra Miller's The Flash moves from June 3, 2022 to Nov. 4, 2022, which was previously Shazam!: Fury of the Gods' date. The Zachary Levi sequel will now arrive on June 2, 2023. Finally, Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam goes from debuting on Dec. 22, 2021 to not having a date at all.

Production on The Batman shut down at the beginning of September after Robert Pattinson tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), with production resuming two weeks later. Meanwhile, The Flash is reportedly circling Billy Crudup to reprise his Justice League role as Barry Allen's father, Henry Allen, along with offering a "restart" to the DCEU. The official title for Shazam 2 was revealed at DC FanDome, and Black Adam found its Hawkman in Aldis Hodge.

Directed by Matt Reeves and written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Peter Sarsgaard as District Attorney Gil Colson. The film arrives in theaters March 4, 2022.

Directed by Andy Muschietti with a script by Christina Hodson, The Flash stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. It is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam!: Fury of the Gods stars Zachary Levi as Shazam, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Marta Milans as Mama Rosa. The film is tentatively set to arrive in theaters on June 2, 2023.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo and Aldis Hodge. The film currently does not have a release date.
