When a Twitter user suggested the actor would be a good fit for Bane, Bautista replied, “I accept!”

Reports suggest long-rumored rogues such as Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman remain possibilities for The Batman, alongside supporting players like Commissioner Gordon, Alfred Pennyworth and Robin the Boy Wonder. Bautista, of course, has a well-established history when it comes to movies based on comic books, having played Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bautista’s response has over 2,700 retweets and over 26,700 likes, making it appear that there would be fan support if he were cast in the role.
